My First Post~~

Nah, first of all, I did not make this blog for fun. This blog is a part of my school's project.

According to the instructions, I have to introduce myself by writing a short profile. So, let's start~!! :D

Hi, again! My formal name is Angelina Gunawan, but usually people just call me Kiku. Actually, you also can call me Angel like what my teacher, people who don't know me very well or people who know me only by my formal name do. I am an Indonesian born.

Currently, I am studying Diploma in Hotel Management in SHATEC Institutes. Before, I studied business in California State University, Long Beach. Ever heard of it? Anyway, as I felt that business is not my passion (but my family's passion), I withdrew from my course and moved to SHATEC.

Hmm, my ambition is to learn about anything and everything. Currently, every time you ask or look for something, people around you will say, "Just google it." Nah, I want later people will answer, "Just ask Kiku." Greedy isn't it? Haha... But, personally and honestly, I don't see it as impossible. I am sure that human brain is actually much more awesome than those microchips. :D

However, if you ask me about my ambition in hospitality, I can give you a more logical answer than that google thing above. I want to make a hotel where my guests can feel as if they are in their own home. I want to make a very comfortable and friendly environment for my guests. I want my guests understand and experience a great and unforgettable moment in my hotel, like what one of old sayings, "The customer is king." I also want to be a great event organiser in my hotel. Well, you may say that I have too much dreams; but, let me correct it, those are ambitions or goals, not dreams. Dream will stay as a dream, but goal will eventually become a reality (if you keep pursuing it, of course). : )

My hobbies?? I like watching movies, sleeping, eating, bla bla and so on. I have some favourite movies that I can recommend for you guys. One of my latest favourite movies is Fame (2009). Fame is a very inspiring movie. You should try to watch it if you have time.

Apart from my hobbies, there are two things that I do not call it as 'hobbies' because they are not just ordinary hobbies. I prefer to call them part of my life or my soulmates. What are they??? Books and music! =D

I do love books and music very much. I can't even imagine how I can survive without them. I like almost all genres of music, although I love classic, ballad and slow music most; and jazz and pop is probably my last favourite. Favourite book, hmm... I can't choose any particular book. >_<

And so, I did not plan to write this much, but, at the end, I ended up writing so much. *LOL*
